Santana Care Montessori Daily Curriculum Design

Our daily curriculum is divided into two parts

 Let the fun begins!

Once your children overcome the anxiety, the school teachers will helps the students learn about languages, math, manners,  geography, weather, the seasons, animals, and the world we live in through many hand-on activities and with lots of fun!  When you come to the school, you will notice many hands-on teaching materials, such as different types of clothes or cups with gels, are organized in many trays.  Each student will learn to retrieve the tray to play with the materials with their teachers.  By playing with Montessori’s teaching materials, children will explore and foster their interest with curiosity and fun. This is how Montessori students “learn” to “enjoy learning”, even if the materials can be challenges.

 The Circle Time

Most young toddlers, especially 1 ½-year-old toddlers, have separation anxiety when their parents drop them to school.  We understandingly designed "the Circle Time," the first part of our daily curriculum that all teachers and students will sit in a big circle to sign and share today's goals together.  Our experienced teachers leverage this "Circle Time" teaching method to help their students overcome their separation anxiety and adopt new environment with ease and positive attitude.

Your child will meet and interact with children their age, which eventually foster his/her communication skills that are essential to his/her life-long future success.  The older children will often leverage the skills they learn in their Montessori education to help younger ones develop their social skills.
